Not the films we stock. Self adhesive carpet film is made with a low tack adhesive designed for cut pile and loop, and it lifts off without residue or fibre pull. Do not use general purpose packing tape or masking film on carpet.
Every product is rated differently, so ask before you order. As a rule, adhesive films are meant for weeks rather than months, and rigid board is what you want for a long program or an exposed thoroughfare.
